My crochet buddy

She loves to play with my yarn while I work so it's no surprise that she is joining me tonight while I crochet a cowl.

Well between work school and trying to keep up with sleep I haven't created many new things. I just finished a WIP that had been sitting in my room for almost 4 years pretty happy that I was finally able to finish it. It is a pinwheel start and I had started it when my best friend told me she was going to have her first child needless to say I never got it done to give to her so I finally dropped all ideas for new projects and set my mind on the baby blanket. so here it is!!!!!!!!!!

Well so far I am on only the 3rd pattern that I have found I don't totally loose interest in the bottom pictures are the seed stitch and the single red, white, and blue one is a half double crochet fan stitch and the top is a simple single crochet diagonal washcloth. They are all simple and pretty so maybe I will warm up to more washcloth patterns. hmmmmmm not to finish the blue one and work on a bunny stuffy!

Not so productive day.

Well I woke up today planning to get some more items done and instead went back to sleep before showering to go to work. So tomorrow I am determined to finish atleast one more hat and a baby blanket or atleast a few wash cloths. hmmmm I guess we will wait and see

Wash Cloths

Well I have been trying to make a bunch of wash cloths in order to bring more with me to my craft shows but I have yet to find a pattern I can stick with I have made a few different ones but none have really struck me. So I am looking to you all to give me ideas To my fellow crafters what pattern would you suggest for a good wash cloth? Simple preferably lol thank you!

Well I have found I have a thing for creating character hats and in the past week have added three new ones to my collection of hats for sale. every one is all over the Monsters Inc. hats and Dispicable Me minion hats so I have tried to stay away from them.
Instead I have decided to daybue my "Happy the Dizzy hippo"

I was bored with all the usual hats people were posting so I decided these would be nice additions to my hats.

 

Today I was also finally able to open my etsy.com shop and post these three. They are available for purchase as well as available for custom orders in any size or color. I was just so proud of them I finally to the step to open my shop rather than to just have them on my facebook page

New start

Well I had tried to keep up with a blog once before but failed miserably but I am going to try this again. My name is  Alyssa Kae and i am a crochet addict. I crochet on a regualr basis and love to try out new projects I also sell my finished projects and give many as gifts to family and friends. I was in my own apartment this past year but now will be moving back into my parents busy busseling house till I am done with school. but thats for another post. Hopefully I can intice your creative side with what I post and if you have any ideas of what you think my next project should be maybe you should shoot me a line with your idea. thanks for reading this and I will write soon.
